Befindet sich die Batterieladung eures iPhones in einem kritischen Bereich, sind also nur noch wenige Prozent übrig, wird der Standort eures iPhones automatisch an Apple gesendet. Das setzt natürlich eine bestehende Internetverbindung voraus. Der Standort wird nur dann automatisch übertragen, wenn sich der Akku eures iPhones bereits im kritischen Bereich befindet — die automatische Übertragung findet nicht permanent statt.
Wenn ihr euer iPhone einmal verlegt habt und es nicht mehr wiederfinden könnt, habt ihr auch die Möglichkeiten auf dem verloren geglaubten Apple-Phone einen Ton abzuspielen.
